GRI Offer

Gender Resources, Inc., an international provider of gender equality and social inclusion advisory and international development services, has opened a new office in Johannesburg to enhance its presence in Sub-Saharan Africa. The office is located at 155 West Street, Sandton.

Supporting GRI’s international development services, this new office will augment GRI’s technical support to donors and clients across the region. This is GRI’s second major expansion in the past 12 months.

Amy Sullivan, Global Director of Monitoring, Learning, and Adaptation, has been named to head the office, which will begin public operations after shelter in place has been lifted in South Africa. Dr. Sullivan is a recognized expert in gender and social inclusion in rural development and service delivery.

“The Johannesburg – Pretoria corridor really is the intersection of private, public, and international donor development initiatives for Africa,“ says Dr. Sullivan. “Being in South Africa puts us close to world-class academic institutions of higher learning, international think tanks, and financial institutions. Johannesburg is connected physically and digitally to the rest of Africa – you can get anywhere from here.”
