GRACE FISIY, PHD
Senior Advisor, Women in Agriculture
Dr. Fisiy has over 25 years experience mainstreaming gender in agriculture, food security, rural economic development, and vocational training programs. A Ph.D in gender and agrarian change, she previously served as the Agribusiness practice lead at Women for Women International and was a founding member of the Association of Women Agriculture Engineers in Cameroon. She has worked in over 15 countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe, and her past clients include DAI, the Government of Cameroon, IFC, MCC, the Mitchel Group, UNDEP/ILO, and Women for Women International.
Dr. Fisiy earned her Ph.D in Gender and Agrarian Change and her M.A. Agriculture and Rural Development from the Institute of Social Studies at the Hague, and her B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the Agricultural University of Cameroon. She is fluent in English, French, and Creole.
